Capsys Production Facility

A modular building is one built in a factory instead of at the construction site. Performing construction indoors prevents delays and damage due to weather or insecure site conditions, resulting in cost savings for the customer. It also allows for a higher level of quality control. To maximize these advantages, Capsys uses modules that are 2-3 times larger than most other companies' modules, thus eliminating much field work required to join modules together on-site. Capsys further reduces field work by shipping homes with fully finished interiors, and by using mechanical and electrical systems that require minimal field work to connect. Because of these procedures, Capsys modular buildings require notably less work on site than most other modules.

Capsys modules are all steel. They are fabricated with a very rigid structural steel frame. Floor structures are either heavy-gauge steel C-joists with plywood, or full structural steel and concrete. All walls are fabricated with heavy-gauge steel studs. Steel frames and sub-assemblies are not only strong, but also noncombustible. Modular construction of hotels, dormitories and mid-rise structures are not only practical but economical.
